Farah Joseph are looking for an Office Administrator with some marketing skills to start as soon as possible and join their growing furniture brand business.
As part of our busy and thriving office team, you’ll help keep everything running smoothly.
Our teams – if it’s possible – have to move even quicker than the rest of the business. And they have to keep ahead of our customers too, second-guessing what they want and need before even they do. Efficient and well organised, your day-to-day will involve organisational work, data processing and analysis.
We do things our own way at Farah Joseph. But whatever we’re doing, we must be getting it right.
You will become the primary point of contact for any customer issues raised across the department, by phone, email and in person.
Experience of interacting with customers and management and the ability to effectively communicate across different levels is essential. The tasks of the role will differ from day to day depending on the needs of the business, from taking calls on one day, to updating our sales platform including our website the next. The successful candidate will have an excellent opportunity to enhance their IT skills and business knowledge within our successful growing business. The successful candidate will:
Take incoming calls
Perform duties for Management and Directors
Provide basic customer information
Prioritise and assign product support emails/tickets to the relevant team members
Escalate issues where required, ensuring resolution in agreed time frames
Effectively communicate issues regarding IT to the Head of IT
Help with report generation and data tasks
Assist with team calendar management and co-ordination for Sales

GCSE (or equivalent) qualifications
Customer service experience
Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
Excellent communication skills
Some marketing experience
